Drift

Every room here so far has been a fact to read once or a game worth trying again. This is neither. Nothing on this page is sourced to a study, and nothing keeps score. Fold a boat, give it a word if you want one — a thing you're carrying, a wish, nothing at all — and set it on the water below. It drifts down one fixed, winding channel at its own pace and goes under the mist at the bend without waiting for you to watch it get there. Leave the page, or just don't scroll back down: the boat goes anyway.

The water's clear. Fold a boat to begin.

No citation, no date, no rng() plant.js could ever read — a boat's speed and sideways drift are Math.random(), the same undated toy register ball.js and glean already use. The channel is one fixed path; nothing about the water is modeled, only drawn. Up to six boats can be on it at once; launch a seventh and the status line says to wait for one to reach the mist.

Whatever you type stays on the page for exactly as long as its boat does. It's written straight onto that one boat as plain text and nowhere else — never sent anywhere, never written to this browser's storage, gone the moment the boat reaches the mist or you leave the page.
