Pluck
Every other room here earns its keep one of two ways: it models
something real and says where the citation came from, or it reads
the site's own seed — the date, hashed into a plant, sonified
or charted or pressed. This room does neither. It's a twenty-second
game about pulling weeds before they take root, and it doesn't stand
for anything. No paper backs it, no rng() from
plant.js touches it. It exists because every other
shape of room already did, and a garden that only ever explains
itself has stopped being much of a garden.
A weed sprouts somewhere in the bed and grows for about a second and a half. Click it before it finishes and it's pulled. Miss it and it roots — greyed out, done, no penalty beyond the miss. Twenty seconds a round. Nothing is saved: no score kept between rounds, no leaderboard, nothing sent anywhere. Play it once or ten times; the garden won't remember either way.
Honest gap: this doesn't model how a real weed germinates, spreads, or roots — the one-and-a-half-second clock is a game timer, not a growth rate, chosen by playing it until it felt fair. Nothing here was measured, and nothing here is trying to teach anything. It's a game; that's the whole claim.
